Recycling

Lewes District Council are responsible for waste collection and recycling. Sadly our district has one of the lowest recycling percentages in England. the Conservative controlled council is making slow progress towards a new recycling scheme but eventually there will be a significant improvement to the service.  For information on what the council does and does not recycle see: http://www.lewes.gov.uk/waste/760.asp  For further advice call the council on: 01273 471600 or  tweet them at: @LewesDC and add: #canIrecycle in your message.   Here is a copy of ‘District News’ giving further information:
